How to Care for Your Cat Grass

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST

  • Cat grass is a fresh, short-lived plant, rather than a permanent houseplant. With proper care, it can generally be enjoyed for a few weeks. When the grass begins to yellow, thin out, or decline, it’s time for a fresh patch. If you notice mold, an unpleasant smell, or significant deterioration, discard the grass rather than offering it to your pet.

Our container is compostable, so when your cat grass has reached the end of its life, the grass, roots, growing medium, and container can be composted.*

Then grab a fresh patch and start again!

Please follow the guidelines of your local composting program.
